Job summary

A leading company in the fit-out sector is seeking a Site Manager to oversee a variety of commercial projects in Northern Ireland. The site manager will manage manpower, ensure compliance with regulations, and coordinate daily site operations. Applicants should have significant experience, preferably in carpentry or joinery, with strong IT skills and flexibility to work across different sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience with Main or Fit Out Contractor in NI or UK.
• Desirable background in carpentry or joinery.
• Experience in School Fit Out projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan day-to-day site requirements including labor and material procurement.
• Ensure quality of works are completed on time and within budget.

Salary - £40K - £45K + package

About the Company

A fantastic opportunity to work on a portfolio of interesting and unique commercial fit out projects.

This is a great role for Finishing Foreman or Joinery Foreman with commercial fit out experience to work with a reputable company with very high staff retention and competitive salaries.

The Role

• Coordination and supervision of various projects as required by the business.
• Oversee commercial, residential and retail fit out projects and manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors over multiple sites.
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and that they are done on time and in budget.
• Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour, procurement of materials and meeting deadlines.
• Perform company compliance, H&S and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations.

Requirements

• A background in carpentry or joinery is desirable.
• A minimum of 5 years proven experience working with a Main Contractor or Fit Out Contractor in NI or UK.
• Flexibility- applicants must be flexible with travel to different sites as required by the business.
• Strong awareness of H&S and Health and Welfare Regulations and ability to implement these regulations on site.
• Experience working on School Fit Out projects is desirable.
• Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
• Strong I.T skills are essential. (Microsoft Suite including Project)
