Job summary

BMSL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead demolition works on a major development project in the Bedford/Milton Keynes area. The role focuses on managing demolition and enabling works, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely and on programme.

You will conduct inductions, manage RAMS, permits and site documentation, and liaise with project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Site Manager on demolition projects.
• SMSTS qualification.
• CSCS Card holder.
• First Aid at Work.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and drive works on site.

Site Manager (Demolition Works)

Bedford / Milton Keynes Area (MK43)

A leading contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a major development project in the Bedford / Milton Keynes area.

The initial phase of the project involves the demolition of a number of existing residential properties ahead of the main construction works. As a result, we are looking for a Site Manager with previous demolition experience who is confident managing demolition contractors and overseeing works safely through to completion.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile scheme at an early stage and play a key role in preparing the site for the next phase of development.

Requirements

Desirable (but not essential)

• CCDO qualification
• Demolition Supervisor or Demolition Management experience
• Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS) or Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC)
