Job summary

BMSL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead demolition works on a major development project in the Bedford/Milton Keynes area. The role focuses on managing demolition and enabling works, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely and on programme.

You will conduct inductions, manage RAMS, permits and site documentation, and liaise with project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Site Manager on demolition projects.
• SMSTS qualification.
• CSCS Card holder.
• First Aid at Work.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and drive works on site.

Responsibilities

• Managing demolition and enabling works on site.
• Coordinating subcontractors and daily site activities.
• Ensuring works are delivered safely and in accordance with programme.
• Conducting inductions, toolbox talks and site inspections.
• Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation.
• Liaising with project teams, consultants and stakeholders.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Monitoring progress, quality and programme delivery.
