Job summary

Green Recruitment Company is seeking a Cable Routes Site Manager for contract roles across the UK to lead on-site delivery of HV cable route works, including excavation, duct installation, HDD crossings, jointing bays and pulling operations.

You will coordinate civils gangs, jointing teams and subcontractors, plan pulls and trenchless works, and report progress daily while ensuring safe, compliant site performance across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing HV cable or linear civils projects.
• SMSTS and CSCS (Manager/Professional) certification required.
• NRSWA supervisor qualification is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of CDM 2015 and temporary works.
• Experience managing works within the public highway is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site delivery across the cable route and associated compounds.
• Coordinate civils gangs, jointing teams, cable pulling crews and specialist subcontractors.
• Plan and supervise cable pulls, HDD crossings and trenchless activities.
• Manage traffic management, streetworks permits and highways interfaces.

We are seeking a Cable Routes Site Manager for contract roles on HV cable installation projects throughout the UK. You will manage on-site delivery across live cable route works — including excavation, duct installation, HDD crossings, jointing bays and cable pulling operations — ensuring works progress safely and to programme across a linear, often multi-location, work front.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily site delivery across the cable route and associated compounds

• Coordinate civils gangs, jointing teams, cable pulling crews and specialist subcontractors

• Plan and supervise cable pulls, HDD crossings and trenchless activities

• Manage traffic management, streetworks permits and highways interfaces

Experience & Qualifications

• Site management experience on HV cable, utilities or linear civils projects

• SMSTS, CSCS (Manager/Professional), First Aid at Work
