SITE MANAGER WITH MAIN CONTRACTOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR A CONTRACT POSITION IN WISBECH, CAMBRIDGESHIRE

Job Title: Site Manager

Location: Wisbech, Cambridgeshire

Salary: 55-60k DOE + company car and other benefits

Skilled Careers is currently working with a nationwide social housing contractor seeking an experienced Site Manager for a project in Wisbech.

Role Summary:

Managing planned works including K&B, EWI, and roofing streams.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily site operations to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
2. Manage and supervise construction teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
3. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including asbestos awareness.
4. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow.
5. Maintain accurate records of site activities and report progress to stakeholders.
6. Ensure all team members possess necessary certifications, including CSCS Gold Card and a valid driving license.

Requirements:

• Previous experience with similar projects.
• Basic DBS clearance (willingness to undergo).
• UK Driving License.
• Asbestos Awareness certification (UKATA or IATP).
• GOLD CSCS Card or higher.
• CIH Certificate in Managing Housing Maintenance.
• SMSTS certification.
