Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead regional construction projects around Bristol. The role combines on-site leadership with hands-on multi-trade work, overseeing projects up to £1 million and coordinating subcontractors.

Ideal candidates will hold CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid; a trade background is preferred. The position offers a competitive salary of £45k-£48k and opportunities for progression within a growing contractor.

Qualifications

• Proven working manager/foreman experience in construction.
• CSCS card, first aid, and SMSTS.
• Trade background preferred.
• Ability to manage varied scope: build, fit-out, refurb.
• Experience in industrial/commercial builds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of construction projects up to £1 million.
• Manage subcontractors and day-to-day coordination.
• Working foreman with split of management and on-site work.
• Occasionally perform multi-trade work when required.
• Maintain accurate site records and paperwork.
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained.

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Site Manager for a regional contractor specialising in general build projects across Bristol and surround.

Key Duties

• Oversee management of construction project up to a value of £1 million
• Management of sub contractors and day to day coordination
• Working foreman role, with a split of management and on site work
• Able to complete aspects of multi-trade work when required
• Maintain accurate site records and paperwork
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained

Requirements

• Proven working manager/foreman experience within the construction industry
• CSCS card, first aid and SMSTS
• Trade background (preferred)
• Ability to manage varied scope; build/ fit-out/ refurb
• Previous experience within industrial and commercial build projects
