Fawkes & Reece are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a new build housing site in Ulverston on a long-term basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Site Manager with a strong background in residential new build to secure a long-term position with an established housebuilder.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and coordinating subcontractors and site teams.
• Overseeing the construction of new-build homes from start to completion.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and quality across the site.
• Monitoring progress against programme and reporting to senior management.
• Conducting regular site inspections and toolbox talks.
• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and building regulations.
• Managing materials, deliveries and site logistics.
• Maintaining accurate site records and documentation.
• Liaising with the client, contractors and other project stakeholders.

Requirements

Essential:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within new housebuilding / residential construction.
• SMSTS.
• CSCS.
• First Aid at Work.
• Relevant and recent references
• Strong knowledge of health & safety requirements.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and drive the programme forward.
• A strong eye for quality and attention to detail.
