Job summary

Stanford-le-Hope Primary School is seeking a proactive Site Manager to maintain and develop the school site, grounds and facilities. You will implement practical systems, perform regular health and safety checks and ensure compliance under the Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust governance.

The role is full-time, 52 weeks per year, with early start hours and a 37.5-hour week. A relocation package up to £8,000 may be available for eligible new staff and a strong trust network supports professional

Qualifications

• Experience in site management or facilities maintenance.
• Ability to implement systems and procedures.
• Practical DIY skills and hands-on approach.
• Willing to work early hours and adapt schedule.
• Ability to work within Trust governance and Health & Safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, develop and implement site systems and procedures.
• Oversee ground and facilities maintenance of the site.
• Carry out Health and Safety checks in line with Trust policies.
• Ensure the school site remains safe, welcoming and compliant.
• Support school staff, visitors and contractors as required.

Monday - Friday

6:45am - 10:15am & 2:15pm - 6:15pm

Stanford-le-Hope Primary School are seeking an energetic, pro-active Site Manager to join us and to help keep our school safe, welcoming and purposeful for children, staff and visitors. We are looking for a practical and well-motivated person to take on a wide range of responsibilities and duties connected with ground and facilities maintenance of the site. Under the direction of the Headteacher and the Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust H&S department you will also carry out Health and Safety checks in accordance with Trust policies to ensure the school remains compliant.

You will need to be:

• A hands on individual who can maintain, develop and implement systems and procedures;
• Practical; with good DIY skills;
• Able to contribute to projects and maintenance schedules;
• Self-motivated and willing to work on your own initiative
• Adaptable regarding hours of work to meet the needs of the school
