Actual Salary: £31,311 - £33,729 (Salaries are reduced for part time, term time only working)

Location: Woodlands School

Hours per week: 37

Working Weeks: 52

Contract Type: Permanent

About Us

Unity MAT is a small but ambitious Multi Academy Trust made up of three special schools within the Warwickshire area, these being Brooke School in Rugby, Welcombe Hills School in Stratford Upon Avon and Woodlands School in Coleshill. Our central services functions, including Finance, HR, Site & Facilities and IT have been centralised to form the Trust’s Core Services Team. We believe that this enables us to provide high quality support services to all of our schools and beyond.

What We Need

We are seeking a motivated and productive Site Manager to join our Trust Site & Facilities Team. You will proactively manage all relevant aspects of the site including maintenance, repairs, compliance and health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all school site needs to ensure ongoing compliance and effective support to the school and Trust Site & Facilities Team
  • Maintain accurate records relating to compliance
  • Manage the school defects system, ensuring that reported requests are prioritised, allocated and actioned effectively in a timely manner and that the system is properly utilised and updated
  • Line manage designated site staff, including allocation of work, monitoring of performance and management of attendance
  • Liaise with Site & Facilities Manager and other Site Managers within the Trust to ensure best practice is being shared and site teams are working collaboratively in support of Trust aims
  • Provide regular reports and feedback to the Site & Facilities Manager and Headteacher, as required
  • Be the main point of contact for site matters for senior leaders within the school
