Job summary

Sustainable Talent LTD in Sheffield is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a major power refurbishment project. The role requires an electrical bias or strong understanding of electrical works and a track record of delivering on-site safely and to programme.

You will manage day-to-day site activities, oversee subcontractors, ensure CDM compliance, and coordinate with project stakeholders on a large 11kV/33kV infrastructure renewal. Immediate start, 12-month contract, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Manager
• Strong knowledge of CDM regulations
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Confidence managing people and subcontractors on site
• Electrical bias or strong understanding of electrical works
• Experience with 11kV / 33kV systems
• Experience in power, electrical infrastructure or utilities

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day site activities and ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently
• Managing site teams, subcontractors and other site personnel
• Ensuring works are carried out in line with CDM regulations
• Organising resources, labour and site activities
• Maintaining communication across the site team and project stakeholders
• Monitoring progress and ensuring works remain on programme
• Attending site meetings and coordinating with other project teams
• Ensuring health, safety and quality standards are maintained
• Supporting the delivery of electrical and power refurbishment works

Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a major power refurbishment project in Sheffield.

The project involves the renewal and upgrading of the site's existing power infrastructure, so we are ideally looking for someone with an electrical background or strong understanding of electrical works.

Experience working around 11kV and 33kV systems would be highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day site activities and ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently
