Job summary

Blue Arrow is seeking a Site Manager to operate at a school in Walsall. The role involves opening/closing, site maintenance, safety oversight, and supporting daily operations within school hours.

The position runs Monday to Friday with split shifts (7:00–10:00 and 15:00–18:00). Enhanced DBS is required, and the employer promotes Disability Confident hiring.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or site maintenance is preferred.
• DBS check required for the role.
• Reliable and well-organised with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Opening up and closing the school.
• Keeping the school grounds maintained and tidied.
• General maintenance and DIY.
• Litter picking.
• Assisting with school deliveries.
• Overlooking the school's health and safety.
• Carrying out fire drills/test.
• Checking fire extinguishers and other health and safety aspects of the schools.
