Job summary

Blue Arrow is seeking a Site Manager to work within a school in Walsall. You will be responsible for opening/closing the school, keeping grounds tidy, and performing general maintenance tasks to ensure a safe environment.

Hours are 7:00–10:00 and 15:00–18:00, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of £13.50 per hour. An enhanced DBS is required. The role includes handling deliveries and overseeing health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be organised and reliable with good time management.
• Experience with site maintenance and basic DIY.
• Able to open/close the school and respond to maintenance issues.

Responsibilities

• Opening up and closing the school daily.
• Maintain school grounds and keep premises tidy.
• Perform general maintenance and basic DIY tasks.
• Carry out litter picking.
• Assist with school deliveries as needed.
• Oversee health and safety, including fire drills and extinguisher checks.

Job description

As a site Manager you will be responsible for:

• Opening up and closing the school.
• Keeping the school grounds maintained and tidied.
• General maintenance and DIY.
• litter picking.
• assisting with any school deliveries.
• overlooking the schools health and safety.
• Carrying out fire drills/test.
• Checking fire extinguishers and other health and safety aspects of the schools.
