Job summary

Niyaa People currently seek an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established contractor delivering planned refurbishment works across Sheffield and the surrounding Yorkshire region.

The role focuses on managing roofing replacement and window installation on occupied social housing, leading on-site teams and ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery. Weekly pay, a company van and fuel card support delivery of multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Site Manager on planned refurbishment or construction projects.
• Experience managing roofing, window replacement or planned maintenance programmes.
• Experience supervising direct labour and subcontractors.
• Experience working within the social housing sector is desirable.
• SMSTS Certificate (Essential)
• NVQ Level 4, HNC or equivalent
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations across planned refurbishment projects.
• Oversee roofing replacement and window installation programmes across Sheffield and the surrounding area.
• Lead and supervise direct labour and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and within programme.
• Maintain high standards of quality, site presentation and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Carry out site inductions for all operatives, subcontractors and visitors.
• Maintain accurate site records, including Health & Safety documentation.
• Monitor environmental and waste management compliance.
• Organise and chair regular site meetings.
• Plan labour, materials and resources to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Report progress, programme updates and site issues to the Project Manager.
• Support, motivate and manage site teams to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure all works comply with company procedures and client specifications.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established contractor delivering planned refurbishment works across Sheffield and the surrounding Yorkshire region.

This is a temporary opportunity overseeing roofing replacement and window installation projects within occupied social housing properties.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple refurbishment sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards while maintaining excellent customer service.
