Job summary

JobsTrackR in Merseyside is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead social housing kitchen and bathroom refurbishments and later a wider programme of external renewals and retrofit schemes. You will oversee trades, manage schedules and ensure high quality work with minimum disruption to residents.

This full-time role offers up to £47,000, plus a company van and fuel card, 34 days leave and a discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Deep background in social housing refurbishment schemes, specifically managing kitchens & bathrooms and external renewals.
• Experience or involvement with government-funded retrofit/energy-efficiency replacement schemes is highly desirable.
• Must hold a CSCS Black Card (NVQ Level 6 or equivalent), SMSTS, and a valid First Aid certificate; background as a tradesperson before moving into site management.
• Full UK driving licence required to operate the company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Merseyside kitchen & bathroom scheme, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
• Manage site schedules for kitchen/bathroom replacements, external renewals, and future retrofit upgrades.
• Lead, motivate, and manage direct trades and subcontractors on-site, ensuring clear direction and high productivity.
• Maintain strict health, safety, and environmental standards on-site, conducting inductions, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
• Work closely with resident liaison teams to minimise disruption to residents.

Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum Company Van & Fuel Card

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm

Are you an experienced Site Manager with a strong trades background and a proven track record in social housing refurbishments? We are looking for a skilled professional to lead our delivery teams, starting with an upcoming Kitchen & Bathroom (K&B) scheme in Merseyside. Over time, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of works, including external renewals and high-profile, government-funded retrofit energy-efficiency schemes. If you excel at driving high-quality standards, managing trades, and keeping residents happy, we want to hear from you.

• Tenant Liaison: Work closely with resident liaison teams to ensure works are carried out with minimal disruption to residents.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Deep background in social housing refurbishment schemes, specifically managing internal (Kitchens & Bathrooms) and external renewals.
• Retrofit Knowledge: Experience or involvement with recent government-funded retrofit / energy-efficiency replacement schemes is highly desirable.
• Certifications: Must hold a CSCS Black Card (NVQ Level 6 or equivalent), SMSTS, and a valid First Aid certificate.Background: A strong foundation as a qualified tradesperson prior to moving into site management.
• Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence to utilize the company vehicle.
