Your new company

Your new company is a leading regional housebuilder with a proud reputation for delivering high-quality homes across the North West. With a strong pipeline of developments in and around Preston, they are seeking an experienced and driven Freelance Site Manager to join their team on a contract basis.

Your new role

As a Freelance Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of a residential construction site. You'll ensure that work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all on-site operations and subcontractorsEnsure compliance with health & safety regulations
Coordinate materials, deliveries, and site logistics
Monitor progress and report to the Contracts Manager
Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer care
Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential construction
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications (essential)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple trades and tight deadlines
Knowledge of NHBC standards and building regulations
