Job description

A well-established and respected regional contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their growing team in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a business known for delivering high-quality commercial and residential projects across East Anglia, typically valued up to £3 million.

The Role:

As Site Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of construction sites from groundworks through to completion. You’ll ensure health & safety compliance, manage sub-contractors and site teams, and deliver projects on time and to budget - all while maintaining the high standards of workmanship the company is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all on-site activities and manage site teams effectively

Liaise with the project manager and office support teams to ensure smooth project delivery

Monitor project progress, budgets, and quality standards

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Build strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers

About You:

Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering projects up to £3m

Strong understanding of construction processes and site coordination

SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certified

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and proactively
