Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London are seeking a Site Manager for a one-day cover on a new-build residential site in Hartlepool. You will be established and confident in running the site and coordinating trades, reporting to the Project/Contracts Manager on progress against the programme.

You will maintain health & safety procedures, manage PPE, inductions, method statements and risk assessments, and assist with site progress reports and file preparation as works proceed.

Qualifications

• Experience in running construction sites and coordinating trades.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety on site.
• Ability to liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

Our client is a House building contractor, who work in the residential sector building 2 - 4 bed homes. Our Client Build New Build Homes and were looking for someone to cover holiday for just one day work on the 10/08

As a Site Manager, you will need to be established and confident in running a Site and Managing Trades. Having New build Housing Background is not essential but would help towards your application

Reporting to the Project / Contracts Manager on the progress against the programme

Maintenance of company required Health & Safety procedures / initiatives including PPE, Site Inductions, Management of Method Statements/Risk Assessments, Work Permits, Scaffold/Lifting equipment inspections

Adherence to the Company quality standards including Management of defects, compliance with specification, compliance with materials / workmanship schedules, subcontractor code of conduct, considerate Constructors Scheme

Helping to lead and coordinate the site team

Assisting with the preparation of the Health and Safety file

Maintaining and update Construction Phase Health & Safety plan as works proceed

Liaising with the client, consultants, contract administrator, head office etc.

To be responsible for the opening and closing of the site facilities

Management of site facilities; welfare, toilets, offices, compound area etc.

To assist in the management of project specific preliminaries

Co-ordinating the Sub-Contractors as appropriate

Preparation / assistance with the site progress reports

Safe storage and co-ordination of materials

To be responsible for the accurate / timely completion of site based documentation

Attendance at project and company related meetings

To ensure all relevant resident and public complaints are resolved efficiently
