Job summary

GVR Solutions Ltd, a well-established drylining and drywall contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee commercial fit-out projects across Central London.

You will lead on-site activities for drylining and drywall packages, coordinate with main contractor and subcontractors, ensure programmes are followed, maintain safety standards, and report progress to clients. This role requires London project exposure and a proactive, quality-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager in drylining, drywall or commercial fit-out.
• Experience on commercial projects in London.
• Understanding of programmes, drawings, specifications and site coordination.
• SMSTS/CSCS/First Aid qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee drylining and drywall works on site.
• Coordinate with Main Contractor, Project Manager and trades.
• Monitor progress against programme; report issues.
• Maintain quality, safety and site housekeeping.

Site Manager Required in Central London

GVR Solutions are working with a well-established specialist drylining and drywall contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to oversee commercial fit-out projects across Central London.

The company delivers high-quality drylining, drywall and associated internal packages for commercial developments and CAT A/CAT B fit-outs. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in drylining, drywall, ceilings or commercial interiors who is looking to take responsibility for projects from mobilisation through to completion.

Key responsibilities of the Site Manager:

• Managing and coordinating drylining and drywall works on site
• Supervising subcontractors and site teams
• Coordinating with the Main Contractor, Project Manager and other trades
• Monitoring progress against programme and reporting any issues
• Ensuring works are completed to specification and the required quality standards
• Managing site logistics, deliveries and materials
• Carrying out regular quality inspections and snagging
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety and site housekeeping
• Attending site meetings and providing progress updates
• Managing labour levels and productivity
• Liaising with clients, consultants and other stakeholders where required
• Ensuring project documentation and site records are maintained

The Site Manager must have/be:

• Previous experience as a Site Manager within drylining, drywall or commercial fit-out
• Strong knowledge of internal fit-out and drylining packages
• Experience working on commercial projects in London
• Good understanding of programmes, drawings, specifications and site coordination
• Strong subcontractor and workforce management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive approach to quality, safety and programme
• Relevant site qualifications, ideally including SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
