Job summary

Ganymede Solutions in Liverpool seeks an experienced Site Manager to take ownership on a live civils and external works project at a food factory site. You will oversee contractors, coordinate daily site meetings and ensure works progress in line with programme, budget and quality standards.

The role requires strong planning, communication and safety leadership on a space-restricted site, with responsibility for representing the client on site and delivering the civils package to programme.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing a civils project in a live site environment.
• Excellent management skills.
• Excellent planning skills.
• SMSTS qualification or certificate.
• CSCS card holder.
• First Aid certification.
• Temporary works coordinator experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent the client on site on a daily basis.
• Oversee the appointed contractors and monitor quality, programme and safety performance.
• Coordinate daily site meetings and maintain clear communication between the client, contractor and wider project team.
• Support planning and sequencing in a live, operational and space-restricted environment.
• Ensure works are delivered in line with project expectations, site constraints and required standards.

Job description

Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for a hands-on contract role on a live, fast-paced project? I am seeking a capable and confident Site Manager to support a high-profile civils and external works scheme at a food factory site in Liverpool for one of our key clients.

Job Details

Valued at approximately £1.5m, the works will take place on a live, space-restricted food factory site, requiring excellent planning, coordination and communication.

• Phase 1 includes zoned removal of existing hard and soft landscaped areas, including truck routes and parking areas.
• The project will involve new underground drainage and interceptor works linking into the existing system.
• The scheme includes construction of new yard areas, truck access routes and staff car parking.
• A security building, site access control and associated underground services will be installed.
• The works will conclude with a soft landscaping scheme once the civils package is complete.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager who enjoys taking ownership on site, working closely with contractors and clients, and ensuring that quality, programme, safety and communication standards are maintained throughout the project.
