Job summary

Logistex is seeking an experienced Site Manager in Leicester to lead the maintenance operation on a key customer site, ensuring service commitments are achieved and safety is paramount.

You will develop and coach the on-site engineering team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with the customer Operations Manager to deliver reliable, high-performance results across the site. This role offers strong leadership opportunities within a market-leading automation environment.

Qualifications

• Degree, HND, or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
• Strong leadership, management or supervisory experience.
• Experience with automation systems and warehouse operations.
• Excellent customer-facing communication skills.
• Experience planning and scheduling maintenance activities.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and CMMS systems.
• Analytical mindset with ability to drive improvements.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the site maintenance operation and ensure support agreement commitments are achieved.
• Lead and develop the on-site Logistex team in line with company values.
• Maintain and enhance the Health & Safety culture across the site.
• Work closely with the customer Operations Manager to drive system and operational improvements.
• Ensure maintenance activities are planned, recorded and managed through the CMMS.
• Manage site performance, budgets, training, quality assurance and compliance records.
• Coordinate additional support from regional teams when required.
• Provide regular feedback to senior management and maintain excellent customer relationships.
