A leading regional main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee new build projects in Yorkshire. You will manage all site operations, ensuring health & safety and quality control while working on high-profile developments. A fantastic opportunity has become available for a highly experienced Site Manager to join a well-established and respected regional main contractor operating across Yorkshire and the North of England.
With a renowned reputation, this contractor specialises in the successful completion of new build projects, typically ranging from 1 million to 35 million, across a diverse mix of sectors. Current and upcoming schemes include high-rise residential blocks, commercial offices, industrial units, schools, colleges, healthcare facilities, and other public sector buildings.
Due to a robust and growing order book, they are now looking to appoint an accomplished Site Manager with proven experience in managing complex new build projects from groundworks through to handover.
Role Overview
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations on site, reporting directly to the Project Manager. You will ensure the highest standards of health & safety, programme delivery, subcontractor coordination, and quality control, always representing the business professionally.
You will be supported by a strong team including engineers, site supervisors, and commercial staff, and you'll have the opportunity to work on flagship developments within the region.
