Job summary

PSR Solutions is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a major residential refurbishment programme in Bristol. You will own delivery from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality and on-time progress across multiple buildings.

Applicants should have proven site management experience in refurbishment or housing projects, CSCS Black Card and SMSTS, and be able to coordinate trades and liaise with clients and supply chain. Driving licence and travel flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Manager in construction.
• Experience in refurbishment, housing, property services or general building.
• Up-to-date safety accreditations (e.g., SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS Black Card).
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with wider project teams.

We are currently supporting an established organisation in the property and construction sector as they look to appoint an experienced Site Manager to strengthen their Bristol operational team.

This is a permanent opportunity well-suited for an experienced Site Manager ready to take ownership of site delivery on a major refurbishment programme. The role involves overseeing a substantial residential refurbishment/retrofit scheme across several large buildings, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and progress from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full operational ownership of the project site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, RAMS, and quality control procedures on site.

• Manage site logistics, plant, and material coordination efficiently.
• Conduct regular progress meetings and maintain accurate site records, diaries, and reports.
• Foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, clients, and supply chain partners.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience working as a Site Manager within the construction industry.
• Strong background in refurbishment, housing, property services, or general building.
• Up-to-date relevant safety accreditations (e.g., SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS Black Card).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider project and commercial teams.
• A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel when required.

Experience working on large-scale residential refurbishment cladding programmes would be highly advantageous.
