Job summary

RGB is seeking a Site Manager for an Essex-based 5-6 week contract to lead civil engineering works and underground cabling for a renewable energy project.

The role requires SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid, with strong site leadership and a proven background in heavy civils. You will manage safety, security, and close coordination with subcontractors and stakeholders throughout the project.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisor/management experience in civil engineering or groundworks.
• Commercial and contractual awareness with negotiation skills.
• Excellent technical construction knowledge.
• Full driving license.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft packages.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil engineering and groundworks for underground cabling, utilities and power supply.
• Ensure site security, health and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and subcontractors on site.
• Oversee project delivery on site in Essex for a 5-6 week contract.

Are you certified SMSTS and First Aid Civils Biased Site Manage looking for a new opportunity based in Essex on a contract basis?

RGB are currently supporting a leading Construction and infrastructure organisations to assist them in sourcing the very best talent within Civil Engineering.

The role is to manage the civil engineering and groundworks aspect of a new site to install underground cabling, utilities and power supply to a renewable energy plant.

They are looking to recruit a Site Manager taking responsibility for site security, health and safety and more.

• Previous Supervisor / Management experience within the Civil Engineering and/or Groundworks sector
• Commercially and contractually aware with sound negotiation skills
• Excellent technical construction knowledge and understanding

Due to the nature of the projects the successful candidate must have demonstratable experience of the following criteria:

• SMSTS & CSCS & First Aid
• Demonstrable civil engineering experience within heavy civils
• Experience of working on large scale Civil Engineering projects
• Full driver's license
• Working knowledge of Microsoft packages
