Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking an experienced House building Site Manager to join on a temporary basis in the Goole area. You will run the site, manage trades and ensure the programme is delivered safely and to quality standards.

Timber frame background not essential, but beneficial. You will report to Project/Contracts Manager, maintain health & safety procedures, coordinate subcontractors, prepare site reports and handle client communications.

Qualifications

• Must be able to manage a site and coordinate trades.
• Experience reporting to Projects/Contracts Manager.
• Able to maintain health and safety procedures on site.
• Ensure quality standards and workmanship.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site facilities.
• Communicate with client, consultants and head office.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with client, consultants, contract administrator, head office etc.
• Attendance at project and company related meetings
• Safe storage and coordination of materials
• To be responsible for the accurate / timely completion of site based documentation
• To assist in the management of project specific preliminaries
• To be responsible for the opening and closing of the site facilities

Job description

My client is a National 5* House building contractor, who work in the residential sector building 2 - 4 bed homes. Our Client Builds a top spec Traditional Build Homes. As a result of expansion and new developments, they are currently looking to recruit an experienced House building Site Manager to work with them on a Temp basis

As Site Manager, you will need to be established and confident in running a Site and Managing Trades. Having Timber Frame House Building Background is not essential but would help

• Reporting to the Project / Contracts Manager on the progress against the programme
• Maintenance of company required Health & Safety procedures / initiatives including PPE, Site Inductions, Management of Method Statements/Risk Assessments, Work Permits, Scaffold/Lifting equipment inspections
• Adherence to the Company quality standards including Management of defects, compliance with specification, compliance with materials / workmanship schedules, subcontractor code of conduct, considerate Constructors Scheme
• Helping to lead and coordinate the site team
• Assisting with the preparation of the Health and Safety file
• Maintaining and update Construction Phase Health & Safety plan as works proceed
• Liaising with the client, consultants, contract administrator, head office etc.
• To be responsible for the opening and closing of the site facilities
• Management of site facilities; welfare, toilets, offices, compound area etc.
• To assist in the management of project specific preliminaries
• Co-ordinating the Sub-Contractors as appropriate
• Preparation / assistance with the site progress reports
• Safe storage and co-ordination of materials
• To be responsible for the accurate / timely completion of site based documentation
• Attendance at project and company related meetings
• To ensure all relevant resident and public complaints are resolved efficiently
