Job summary

Tri square in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a team of trades on a busy construction site. You will manage up to 30 operatives, supervise on-site activities, and ensure timely delivery of materials and quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to work with initiative. The role emphasizes safety compliance and proactive reporting against the project program.

Responsibilities

• Running a team of up to 30 joiners, dry liners and ceiling fixers with an on-site supervisor.
• Ensuring materials are ordered on site to keep men moving.
• Ensuring Health and Safety compliance is met and strictly adhered to.
• Ensuring all works are carried out to a high-quality standard.
• Daily site diaries are filled out.
• Project delays are reported to the client.
• All quality paperwork, handovers are up to date.
• Tradesmen are working in a productive manner.
• Ensure all works commenced can be completed 100%.
• Weekly Health and Safety and Quality paperwork is in place.
• Follow and report against on site program.
• Issue the relevant progress reports.
• Issue a 1,4 and 6 week look ahead program on a weekly basis.
