Your new company has a goal to create quality homes above the average quality level of mainstream house builders while retaining a competitive and caring edge. They have acquired a development in Sussex and require a Site Manager to manage the project from start to completion.

Your new role is to act as the number one on site to construct a £4.5 million new residential block of flats connected to a listed building. The program is set for 18 months to build over 30 units using a traditional building method: block and beam, hollow core, timber-pitched roof. One block with three wings, developed for sale or holdings. The program includes demolition, temporary works, groundwork, foundations, super structure, envelope and fit out. You will be supervising direct and subcontract staff, dealing with design and technical issues as they arise.

What you'll need to succeed is previous experience as a site manager acting as the number one on-site building residential blocks, technical knowledge of the construction methods used for this scheme, excellent communication skills, a stable work history and holding an appropriate level of education in the UK construction industry. You will need CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid and checkable reference from a previous employer.

What you'll get in return is an offer of employment paying £60,000 to £65,000 dependent experience. Benefits include paid holidays.
