Job summary

Fawkes and Reece is seeking an experienced Site Manager - Internals to lead the internal fit-out of 30-35 residential units in Dunstable and coordinate all internal trades. You will drive the programme, monitor quality, and ensure safe, on-time completion of apartments.

The ideal candidate has proven site management experience on residential developments, a strong understanding of internal fit-out and finishing, and SMSTS/CSCS with First Aid qualifications.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the internal fit-out of approximately 30-35 residential units
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors across all internal packages
• Drive programme and ensure works are delivered to agreed dates
• Monitor workmanship, quality and finishing standards
• Coordinate drylining, partitions, ceilings, MEP interfaces and associated internal trades
• Carry out regular inspections and ensure defects are identified and closed out
• Maintain accurate site records and communicate progress to the wider project team
• Liaise closely with commercial, design and construction teams
• Ensure all works are undertaken in accordance with health & safety requirements
• Manage the handover and completion of apartments to the required standard

A leading main contractor is currently looking to hire an experienced Site Manager - Internals to join a major residential development in Dunstable.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in new-build residential internals, taking responsibility for a defined section of approximately 30-40 apartments through to completion.

You will be responsible for managing the internal construction process, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.

• Good eye for detail and a commitment to quality
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Relevant construction qualifications, ideally including SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
• Experience delivering new-build apartments would be highly advantageous
