Job summary

A leading main contractor in Dunstable is seeking an experienced Site Manager - Internals to oversee the internal fit-out of approximately 30–40 residential units within a major development in Dunstable. You will coordinate and supervise subcontractors across internal trades, drive the programme, and ensure workmanship quality and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Manager on residential or apartment developments.
• Strong knowledge of internal fit-out and finishing.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple internal trades.
• Understanding of construction sequencing and programme management.
• Commitment to quality with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications preferred.
• Experience delivering new-build apartments advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the internal fit-out of approximately 30-35 residential units

• Coordinate drylining, partitions, ceilings, MEP interfaces and associated internal trades

• Liaise closely with commercial, design and construction teams
• Ensure all works are undertaken in accordance with health & safety requirements
• Manage the handover and completion of apartments to the required standard

A leading main contractor is currently looking to hire an experienced Site Manager - Internals to join a major residential development in Dunstable.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in new-build residential internals, taking responsibility for a defined section of approximately 30-40 apartments through to completion.

You will be responsible for managing the internal construction process, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.

The Role

• Drive programme and ensure works are delivered to agreed dates
