Job summary

Core Group is seeking an experienced Site Manager for an ongoing client project in Burford. You will lead day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades, and ensure strict Health & Safety compliance on a busy site.

The role requires proven site management experience, CSCS and SSSTS/SMSTS certification, and excellent communication and organisational skills. Immediate start available in a dynamic project environment.

Qualifications

• CSCS and SSSTS/SMSTS certification required.
• Proven experience as a Site Manager on similar projects.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage site operations and workforce effectively.
• Two checkable references.
• Available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the site.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site operatives.
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works remain on schedule.
• Liaise with the client, contractors and workforce.
• Organise site activities and coordinate deliveries where required.
• Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure project standards are maintained.
• Conduct site inductions, briefings and toolbox talks where required.
• Keep site records and relevant documentation up to date.
• Identify and resolve any issues that may affect progress.
• Ensure the site is kept safe, clean and organised.
