Job summary

Core Group is hiring an experienced Site Manager for a client project in Burford. You will lead day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades, and ensure safety and progress are maintained to deadlines.

Ideal candidates hold CSCS and SSSTS/SMSTS, demonstrate proven site management experience, and display strong communication and organisational skills. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• CSCS & SSSTS / SMSTS certification is required.
• Proven track record as a Site Manager on client projects.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Good communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage site operations and workforce effectively.
• Two verifiable references available on request.
• Immediate availability to start.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the site.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site operatives.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Monitor progress to keep works on schedule.
• Liaise with client, contractors and workforce.
• Organise site activities and coordinate deliveries as needed.
• Monitor workmanship quality and maintain project standards.
• Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks where required.
• Keep site records and documentation up to date.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting progress.
• Maintain a safe, clean and well-organised site.

Duties:

• Manage the day-to-day running of the site


• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site operatives


• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times


• Monitor site progress and ensure works remain on schedule


• Liaise with the client, contractors and workforce


• Organise site activities and coordinate deliveries where required


• Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure project standards are maintained


• Conduct site inductions, briefings and toolbox talks where required


• Keep site records and relevant documentation up to date
