Job summary

Qualifications

• SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily construction activities and site operations; produce daily work plans and coordinate attendance.
• Order plant, materials and equipment; arrange transport deliveries and site logistics.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate site activities; monitor progress and report milestones.
• Identify non-conformances and project risks; manage ITPs; conduct inspections to maintain quality.
• Conduct RAMS, site inductions and toolbox talks; perform regular site inspections and audits; improve on-site safety behaviours.

With an established reputation for designing and delivering contemporary parking facilities across the UK, our client is seeking an ambitious Site Manager to join their team on a project in Cheltenham.

Responsibilities

Site Operations Management

• Manage daily construction activities and site operations.
• Produce daily work plans and coordinate site attendance requirements.
• Order plant, materials, and equipment as required.
• Arrange transport deliveries and manage site logistics and access arrangements.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements.

Subcontractor Management & Quality Control

• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate site activities.
• Monitor and report on site progress.
• Identify and record non-conformances and project risks.
• Manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Carry out inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Record and report quality issues where necessary.

Health & Safety Management

• Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are implemented and followed.
• Review, update, and maintain RAMS documentation.
• Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks.
• Perform regular site inspections and audits.
• Monitor and improve on-site Health & Safety behaviours.
• Address findings from internal and external Health & Safety audits.
