Job description

We are currently recruiting a site manager with highways and civils experience to join an established construction and civil engineering contractor in Blackburn.

Responsibilities

1. Define the project scope, objectives, success criteria, and deliverables, in consultation with the client and other stakeholders.
2. Establish and maintain effective project governance, processes, and systems, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, health, and environment standards.
3. Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, and monitor and control the project progress, performance, and risks.
4. Manage the project budget and resources, and ensure timely and accurate invoicing and reporting.
5. Communicate and coordinate with the project team, the client, and other consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Prepare and present regular project updates and reports, highlighting achievements, issues, and recommendations.
7. Lead and facilitate the resolution of any problems or conflicts that may arise during the project.
8. Ensure the delivery of the project outcomes, meeting or exceeding the client’s expectations and satisfaction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering high-quality projects for our clients, from inception to completion.
