Job summary

Fawkes and Reece in Birkenhead is seeking a Site Manager to drive a decarbonisation project on tenanted social housing properties, including Solar PV and ventilation upgrades. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will lead the programme to meet timescales and budget.

The role requires SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid, plus a proven track record in social housing refurbishments. You will oversee safety, quality and tenant satisfaction while coordinating materials and site teams.

Qualifications

• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required tickets.
• Proven track record delivering Social Housing refurbishment schemes, particularly retrofit works.
• Stable and progressive career history on CV.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation, maintaining programme within timescales and budget.
• Maintain health & safety and foster positive H&S culture on site.
• Monitor quality of work.
• Liaise with the client.
• Order materials and coordinate with Tenant Liaison Officer to ensure tenant satisfaction.

We are working with a well established and growing Main Contractor who have a great company culture and ethos - the company genuinely value their staff and treat their employees well and as such have great staff retention rates.

They have experienced an extended period of growth and have been awarded several new contracts and as a result, they are seeking a Site Manager to join them to work on a decarbonisation scheme to tenanted Social Housing properties (Solar PV and Ventilation).

This is a great opportunity to join a well established Principle Contractor who have a healthy pipeline of work and operate on a number of framework schemes.

You will be reporting into a Contracts Manager and your responsibilities will include:

• The smooth operational, ensuring the programme of works is completed within correct timescales and budget.
• Ensuring health & safety is maintained and creating a positive attitude towards H&S throughout the team.
• Monitoring the quality of work
• Liaising with the client
• Ordering materials
• Working closely with the Tenant Liaison Officer and ensuring tenant satisfaction is maintained

Experience needed:

SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required tickets, along with a proven track record of successfully delivering Social Housing Refurbishment schemes, particularly retrofit works.

You must be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career history on your CV.

The salary on offer is between £45-50k plus car allowance or van and other benefits.
