Map Talent Group is recruiting a Site Manager to deliver a £4m medical centre in Bedford. You will take day-to-day site control, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, programme and quality standards are met.

This role requires proven main contractor experience in healthcare or complex projects, strong sequencing knowledge, and excellent communication. SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager for a main contractor.
• Experience delivering healthcare, commercial, public sector or similarly complex construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and site management procedures.
• Excellent subcontractor management and communication skills.
• SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS qualifications.
• A proactive approach with a strong focus on safety, quality and programme delivery.

Responsabilités

• Manage all on-site construction activities from start to completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with the programme, drawings and specifications.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Monitor progress and proactively resolve any delays or site issues.
• Liaise with the Contracts Manager, consultants and wider project team.
• Manage site documentation, RAMS, quality inspections and progress reports.
• Ensure the completed medical centre meets the required standards and client expectations.

Site Manager - £4m Medical Centre

Location: Bedford

Salary: £60,000-£70,000 + Car + Package

We are working with a well-established regional main contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager for the delivery of a £4m medical centre in Bedford.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable contractor with a strong regional presence and a growing portfolio of projects across the commercial, healthcare and public sectors.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

The Role
