Job summary

AMB Recruitment Group in Barrow-in-Furness is seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong M&E background to lead maintenance and small works on a long-term site-based contract. In this role you will coordinate day-to-day site operations, manage subcontractors, ensure health and safety, plan labour and resources, and report progress to clients. A SMSTS qualification and a full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Manager in maintenance, FM, refurbishment or construction.
• Strong M&E background and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Valid SMSTS qualification and good health & safety knowledge.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Site Manager (M&E Background)

£50,000 - £55,000+ Equivalent Earnings + Overtime
Site-Based Role

An established and growing contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to support the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and small works projects on a long-term site-based contract in Barrow-in-Furness.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and secure contract with a strong pipeline of ongoing works within a highly regulated environment.

The Role

Working closely with operational teams, clients and subcontractors, you will be responsible for managing maintenance and project works from planning through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong M&E background and be comfortable managing both directly employed labour and subcontractors within a live operational environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Strong Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) background
• Valid SMSTS qualification
• Good understanding of health & safety legislation
• Experience within maintenance, FM, refurbishment or construction environments
• Able to manage multiple workstreams and subcontractors
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
