Job summary

ITS Construction is recruiting an experienced Site Manager to oversee residential groundworks projects in Redditch. You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and plant, and ensure work is delivered safely, on time and to the highest standards.

The role requires SMSTS, CSCS Managers Card, First Aid at Work and a full UK driving licence, with strong communication and organisational skills for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification or equivalent required.
• CSCS Managers Card held.
• First Aid at Work certification required.
• Full UK driving licence mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations on residential groundworks projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, operatives and plant on site.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with procedures.
• Monitor programme and productivity to meet deadlines.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and safety inspections.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, suppliers and project team.
• Maintain accurate site records and report progress.
• Manage quality control and ensure work meets specifications.
• Order materials and coordinate site logistics.

ITS Construction are recruiting on behalf of a well-established groundworks contractor for an experienced Site Manager to oversee residential groundworks projects in Redditch.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor with a strong pipeline of residential developments. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Managing daily site operations on residential groundworks projects.
• Coordinating subcontractors, operatives and plant on site.
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitoring programme and productivity to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and regular safety inspections.
• Liaising with clients, engineers, suppliers and the wider project team.
• Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress.
• Managing quality control and ensuring work meets specification.
• Ordering materials and coordinating site logistics.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential groundworks.
• Strong knowledge of drainage, roads & sewers, foundations and plot works.
• Valid SMSTS.
• CSCS Managers Card.
• First Aid at Work.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
