Job summary

AWD online is seeking a hands-on General Operative in Tuxford, Nottinghamshire. You will help maintain safety barriers, refurbish equipment, and prepare kits for site delivery. The role requires physical work, teamwork and adherence to safety practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and perform physical tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and prepare edge-protection barriers so they remain safe, serviceable and presentable for use on site.
• Prepare surfaces and paint barriers as part of refurbishment.
• Prepare and assemble materials and equipment kits for delivery to site.
• Support stock control and the organised movement of materials and equipment.
• Handle and transport heavy items safely.
• Carry out cleaning and housekeeping to maintain an orderly working environment.
• Work effectively with colleagues and independently to meet deadlines.
• Ensure work follows health and safety legislation, procedures and company quality standards.
