Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions seeks a site-based Maintenance Electrician in Sheffield to maintain and repair electrical systems within a facilities management environment. You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and lead safety-compliant electrical work on site.

The role requires City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation and experience in commercial settings. Core hours are Mon-Fri with on-call rotations and overtime opportunities; generous leave and pension are provided.

Qualifications

Qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
Proven maintenance electrician experience in facilities management or similar environments.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and extend equipment life.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality.
Install, repair, and maintain wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures.
Collaborate with maintenance staff and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure workplace.
