Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a 12-month assignment at a Wastewater Treatment Works in Kingston Bagpuize. The role commands a daily rate of £450 CIS and focuses on leading on-site delivery with safety, quality, and schedule targets.

The candidate will manage on-site operations, coordinate with engineers and subcontractors, and drive sustainability and continuous improvement across the works.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as Site Manager/Site Agent within the UK Water or Wastewater sector.
• SMSTS and CSCS certifications are essential.
• Strong leadership and hands-on ability to manage live on-site works.

Responsibilities

• Lead site health, safety, and environmental management, including RAMS, permits to work, confined space entry, and asset isolation.
• Deliver daily site briefings and toolbox talks to ensure understanding of safety controls.
• Manage day-to-day construction operations, supervising engineers and subcontractors to meet safety, time, and budget targets.
• Oversee progress against programme with resources, QA, and stakeholder coordination.
• Conduct constructability reviews and sign-offs to optimise delivery and innovation.
• Ensure contractual, commercial, and quality procedures are followed and notices issued timely.
• Drive sustainability on site by minimising waste and embodied carbon.
