Job summary

Holt Engineering is recruiting a General Site Labourer with a Counterbalance Forklift Licence to join a busy site in Poole. You will support contractors across the site, assist with pipework, move materials and keep working areas clean, tidy and safe, including loading and unloading when required, and operating a Counterbalance forklift when needed.

Qualifications

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a General Site Labourer with a Counterbalance Forklift Licence to join a busy site based in Poole.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you will support contractors across the site, including assisting with pipework, moving materials and helping to keep the working areas clean, tidy and safe.

Duties will include:

• Assisting contractors with general site duties
• Supporting with pipework and moving materials
• General labouring across the site
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and free from hazards
• Loading, unloading and moving materials when required
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
• Following all site Health & Safety procedures

To be considered, you must have:

• A valid CSCS Card
• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
• Previous experience working within a site, construction or industrial environment would be beneficial
• A good attitude and willingness to help across different areas of the site
• Good awareness of Health & Safety
• Reliability and a strong work ethic

Pay rate: £15.50 per hour

This would suit someone who enjoys a varied role and is happy to get stuck in with general site work as well as operating a forklift when required.
