Job summary

Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. Mace Consult is supporting our client in establishing and operating a Construction Management Office (CMO) at St Fergus Gas Terminal.

The Site Integration Manager will coordinate and deconflict multiple programmes, contractors and operational activities to ensure safe, predictable and efficient delivery within a live environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating multiple concurrent projects, contractors and stakeholders within major infrastructure or industrial programmes.
  • Experience leading interface management, construction coordination or site integration activities within live operational environments.
  • Experience identifying and resolving time-based and spatial clashes across complex delivery programmes.
  • Demonstrable experience facilitating look-ahead planning and short-term coordination processes.
  • Experience working with integrated master schedules (IMS) and supporting decision-making and deconfliction.
  • Strong understanding of construction delivery, operations interfaces and contractor management.
  • Experience operating safely within highly regulated environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills.
  • Membership of MCIOB, MAPM, MICE, MRICS or equivalent professional body.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating site integration across programmes, contractors and operational teams, driving aligned and efficient delivery.
  • Proactively managing interfaces, risks and constraints to support informed decision-making and delivery certainty.
  • Fostering collaboration, inclusion and continuous improvement, sharing best practice to enhance team capability and performance.
  • Acting as the primary on-site coordinator for integrating and deconflicting multiple programmes, contractors and operational activities.
  • Using the integrated master schedule (IMS) to identify, manage and resolve time-based and spatial conflicts across the site.
  • Managing short-term site coordination, sequencing and look-ahead planning activities to maintain safe and efficient execution.
  • Anticipating, escalating and mitigating site-based risks, reducing delays, disruption, early warnings and compensation events.
  • Facilitating coordination forums and ensure actions are tracked through to completion.
  • Supporting effective integration between capital delivery, maintenance, operational and commissioning activities.
  • Promoting safe, predictable and efficient delivery across the St Fergus programme through proactive site integration and coordination.

The project:

Mace Consult is supporting our client in the establishment and operation of a Construction Management Office (CMO) at St Fergus Gas Terminal.


The CMO provides integrated planning, schedule assurance, logistics coordination, interface management and performance visibility across a complex portfolio of capital projects, maintenance activities and operational works. The function acts as a single point of integration, enabling safe, predictable and efficient delivery within a live operational environment.


The Site Integration Manager will play a critical role in coordinating and deconflicting multiple programmes, contractors and operational activities across the site, ensuring safe and efficient execution whilst maintaining a whole-site view of delivery performance and interface risk.


You’ll Be Responsible For


  • Coordinating site integration across programmes, contractors and operational teams, driving aligned and efficient delivery.

  • Proactively managing interfaces, risks and constraints to support informed decision-making and delivery certainty.

You’ll Need To Have


  • Experience coordinating multiple concurrent projects, contractors and stakeholders within major infrastructure or industrial programmes.

  • Experience leading interface management, construction coordination or site integration activities within live operational environments.

  • Experience identifying and resolving time-based and spatial clashes across complex delivery programmes.

  • Demonstrable experience facilitating look-ahead planning and short-term coordination processes to support safe and efficient delivery.

  • Experience working with integrated master schedules (IMS) and using programme information to support decision-making and deconfliction.

  • Strong understanding of construction delivery, operations interfaces and contractor management.

  • Experience operating safely within highly regulated environments.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills.

  • Membership of MCIOB, MAPM, MICE, MRICS or equivalent professional body.

  • Experience working within the gas transmission, energy, utilities, nuclear, rail or major infrastructure sectors.

  • Experience supporting integrated master schedules (IMS) and planning tools such as Primavera P6 or equivalent.

  • Experience leading coordination forums, interface reviews and multidisciplinary planning workshops.

  • Knowledge of commissioning, operational readiness and asset handover processes.

  • Experience managing contractor interfaces and delivery risks across large programmes.

  • Commercial awareness and understanding of programme delivery performance measures.

  • Knowledge of sustainability, carbon reduction and efficient construction delivery practices.
