Job summary

The JobsBoard is seeking an experienced installation technician to fit and install specialist retail equipment across sites in the UK, including refrigeration cabinets, server counters and food preparation areas.

You will travel, cover Sundays, nights, and potentially stay away from home, and collaborate with clients, suppliers and colleagues while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full driving licence.
• CSCS card holder or willing to work towards one.
• Good understanding in construction areas incl. plumbing, carpentry, metalwork and electrical works.
• Welding experience would be desirable but not essential.
• Experience in installation, shop or kitchen fitting is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to undertake personal development, as training will be provided.
• Flexible and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality installation solutions to clients in a professional and effective manner.
• Manage issues as they arise and reach a prompt and satisfactory resolution.
• Provide clear internal communications to the supervisor, including project progress, existing issues, potential issues and suggested improvements.
• Work efficiently and cost effectively.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and clients.
• Maintain high standards of professional integrity and respect for others in all dealings with clients, colleagues, suppliers, other professionals and members of the public.
• Attend appropriate professional training courses, conferences and meetings

About the Role

Working for an established retail installations business who provide storage and outfitting of specialist retail equipment such as refrigeration cabinets, server counters and food preparation areas.

Due to the nature of the industry, candidates must be flexible regarding working hours and willing to travel, as the working week will include some Sundays, nights and potentially staying away from home.

• Deliver quality installation solutions to clients in a professional and effective manner
