Job summary

People Solutions are recruiting for a General Labourer / Retail Shop Fitter (CSCS Card) to join our client based in Tewkesbury. The role requires UK-wide travel to sites across the UK, with attendance only once or twice per week at the head office.

Install retail interiors, work from drawings, and complete site documentation. Training provided; permanent opportunities after temporary period; nights out may be required.

Qualifications

• A valid Green CSCS Card.
• Previous experience as a Fitter, Installer, Shop Fitter or General Labourer.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements within installation environments.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Good practical skills and hand-to-eye coordination.
• A full UK driving licence with no more than nine penalty points.
• A valid passport and willingness to travel.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Installing retail fixtures and equipment to client specifications.

General Labourer / Retail Shop Fitter (CSCS Card) - Based in Tewkesbury

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a General Labourer / Retail Shop Fitter (CSCS Card) to join our well-established client.

The company's head office is based in Tewkesbury and attendance is only required once or twice per week, meaning you do not need to live in the immediate area. The remainder of the role involves travelling to sites across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business specialising in the installation of retail interiors, offering training, development and long-term career opportunities.

This role would be suitable for candidates with experience as a General Labourer, Retail Shop Fitter or POS Installer.

Rates of Pay

• £13.50 - £15.00 per hour
• Night shift bonus
• Overtime paid at 1.5x rate after 12 weeks

Shift Pattern

• Various days and nights between Monday and Sunday
• Minimum 39 hours per week
• Non-standard shift patterns, including nights out and weekend working
• UK-wide travel required
• Occasional overseas travel may be required
