Job summary

Centrick is seeking a property inspections and compliance-focused professional to join our field team. You’ll conduct site visits, record findings, and escalate safety concerns to ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong health and safety knowledge, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently on site with a driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in property inspections, compliance checks or building safety activities.
• Strong understanding of health & safety, compliance and risk identification.
• Excellent attention to detail with accurate reporting and record-keeping.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with multi-priority management.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to work independently in a field-based role.
• Relevant property, facilities, maintenance or compliance qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned site visits to perform routine tests, visual inspections and compliance checks in line with procedures.
• Identify, record and report defects, safety concerns and compliance issues with escalation of critical risks.
• Capture detailed inspection records, photos and evidence for auditable documentation.
• Raise corrective actions, assign findings to teams or contractors, and monitor progress to closure.
• Collaborate with Property Management, Building Safety and technical teams to support reporting and risk management.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct planned site visits to complete routine functional tests, visual inspections and compliance checks in line with approved procedures and schedules.

• Identify, record and report defects, safety concerns and compliance issues, ensuring critical risks are escalated promptly and appropriately.

• Capture detailed inspection records, photographs and asset-specific evidence to maintain accurate and auditable compliance documentation.

• Raise corrective actions, allocate findings to the appropriate teams or contractors, and monitor progress through to verification and closure.
• Liaise with Property Management, Building Safety and technical teams to provide reliable site information that supports compliance reporting, risk management and operational decision‑making.

What You Need to Succeed

• Experience in property inspections, compliance checks, or building safety activities
• Strong understanding of health & safety, compliance, and risk identification
• Excellent attention to detail with accurate reporting and record‑keeping skills
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Full UK driving licence and confidence working independently in a field‑based role
• Relevant property, facilities, maintenance, or compliance qualifications are advantageous
