Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor to join the A47 Norwich project on a site-based basis. You will provide hands-on H&S guidance to the project team, carry out inspections, review RAMS and support investigations.

The role requires NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate (or equivalent), GradIOSH/AIEMA, and a full UK driving licence. You will work closely with the H&S Manager to drive strong safety performance on this significant highways scheme.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' H&S/SHE experience.
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate, NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent NVQ.
• Construction H&S experience, or experience within another high-risk industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day H&S and wellbeing advice to the project team.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance checks.
• Support the preparation and review of risk assessments and RAMS.
• Monitor project H&S performance and produce relevant reports.
• Support accident, incident, near-miss and dangerous occurrence investigations.
