Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to support construction sites across the North West. The role focuses on improving health and safety standards, developing risk assessments, method statements and policies, and providing strong on-site guidance to teams.

With NEBOSH General Certificate and several years of construction safety experience, you will oversee safety across multiple sites, ensure compliance with legislation, and maintain up-to-date documentation.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate required.
• Several years of construction safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction regulations and best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and deadlines.
• Experience producing method statements and safety documents.
• Full UK driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits across the North West to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop, review and update health and safety documents (risk assessments, method statements, policies).
• Provide hands-on support to site teams to implement safety best practices.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions where needed.
• Collaborate with site managers to maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with legislation.
