Denholm Industrial Services Ltd. seeks an experienced HSE Advisor for our Birkenhead site. This on-site role focuses on promoting a strong health, safety and environmental culture while ensuring compliance with procedures, client standards and legislation.

You will lead site inspections, audits and incidents, engaging with management, supervisors and operatives to drive safe working practices. The candidate will coach the workforce, support risk management, and contribute to continuous

Qualifications

NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (required).
Experience in construction, engineering, industrial services or project-based environments.
Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
Experience supporting risk management and safe systems of work.
Understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Good IT skills and experience maintaining HSE records and reports.

Responsibilities

Site engagement, inspections, audits and incident investigations.
Workforce coaching to promote a positive safety culture.
Identify risks and support safe systems of work on scaffolding and industrial painting activities.
Drive continuous improvement in safety performance across projects.
