Job summary

Shirley Parsons is seeking a Group HSE Advisor in Liverpool to support the delivery of the Group HSE strategy across a diverse portfolio of sites. The role involves shaping policy, driving audits and improvement initiatives to reduce risk and improve performance.

You will develop and implement HSE policies, participate in governance activities, and lead project work with site teams to achieve strategic objectives and zero-harm targets.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
• 2-3 years' HSE experience in industrial, infrastructure, manufacturing, logistics or other high-risk environment.
• Experience developing or implementing HSE policies, procedures and management systems.
• The ability to analyse risk, identify improvement opportunities and support delivery of strategic HSE objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the Group HSE strategy and governance across multiple sites.
• Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures and guidance.
• Undertake assurance activities, including audits, action tracking and reporting.

An excellent opportunity to join a leading UK infrastructure and logistics organisation, supporting the delivery of its Group HSE strategy across a diverse portfolio of operational sites. This role offers the chance to influence health, safety and environmental performance through strategic projects, policy development, auditing and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Group HSE Advisor will be responsible for:

• Supporting the delivery of the Group HSE Strategy, driving key strategic objectives and contributing to the organisation's journey towards zero harm.
• Developing and implementing HSE policies, procedures and guidance to support both regulatory compliance and best practice.
• Undertaking assurance activities, including audits, action tracking and reporting, to support governance and continuous improvement.
• Leading and supporting HSE projects, conducting site visits and collaborating with operational and HSE teams across multiple locations.

The Group HSE Advisor will have

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
• 2-3 years' HSE experience gained within an industrial, infrastructure, manufacturing, logistics or other high-risk operational environment.
