Job summary

D7 Recruitment is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor – Construction to deliver on-site HSE support across residential and commercial developments in East Anglia. Regular regional travel will be required to support multiple sites.

You will conduct site inspections, assist with risk assessments and safe systems of work, and provide practical guidance to site teams. IOSH and NEBOSH qualifications preferred; full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Background in construction, ideally housing/residential developments.
• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent and NEBOSH certificate.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections (typical 2 visits per month per site).
• Support pre-start and pre-tender stages.
• Carry out ongoing compliance inspections on active developments.
• Provide practical HSE advice to site teams and management.
• Assist with risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work.
• Undertake occasional security and safety reviews on existing/older buildings.
• Travel across the Midlands region, with occasional travel further afield depending on client requirements.
