Job summary

A leading construction/maintenance organisation in the UK is looking for an HSE Advisor to support health and safety practices on large construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in the chemicals, oil and gas, or power station industries, and will collaborate closely with the Site Management team while ensuring compliance with safety standards. This role is crucial as the project expands to include mechanical and pipework installations.

Qualifications

Overview

Contract: 6 Months. Our client is a leading construction/maintenance organisation operating throughout the UK and Europe, providing specialist mechanical installation services to major projects surrounding the Energy, Chemicals and Process industries. Having won a very large scope of works on a chemicals site, they are now searching for a HSE Advisor to assist with all aspects of health and safety during their phases.

The Role

The successful candidate will have experience of working on large, fast paced projects. Responsibilities will include working very closely with the Site Management team, completing risk assessments and method statements, and maintaining health and safety standards and documentation whilst on site.

As the project is in the early stages, there is currently only a civils contractor on site, but the site and scope will grow to include mechanical and pipework installation, EC&I and ventilation.

Required

• Previous Chemicals, Oil & Gas or Power Station site experience
